Overview

Sicka Yazd Exterior is a game-ready environment pack built in Unreal Engine, inspired by the real architecture of Yazd, Iran. The pack delivers a fully dressed, sunlit open-air courtyard with authentic Persian and Mediterranean architectural details — handcrafted brick arches, ornate iron railings, mosaic tiles, stained glass windows, and a central fountain.

This is a Blueprint-only project. No C++ required. Includes a fully built demo level ready to render or use as a game environment.

Setup

Installation

Purchase on Fab
Go to fab.com, find Sicka Yazd Exterior by Campass Studios, click Add to My Library. Then open Epic Games Launcher → Library → Fab Library.

Add to Project
Click Add to Project and select your Unreal Engine project. Assets are added to your Content folder automatically.

Open in Unreal Engine
Launch your project. In the Content Browser navigate to Content → Sicka_Yazd_Exterior.

Open Demo Level
Go to Content → Sicka_Yazd_Exterior → Maps → DemoLevel and double-click to open.
Recommended Version

Use Unreal Engine 5.0 or above for best Lumen and Nanite results. Compatible with UE 4.20, 4.22, 4.26, 4.27 as well (without Lumen/Nanite).

Right-click → Asset Actions → Migrate.

Navigate to your target project's Content folder and click Select Folder. All dependencies copy automatically.

Usage

Using the Demo Level

The demo level Map_YazdScene is a fully lit, dressed courtyard scene — ready for renders or as a game-ready starting point.

Cinematic Screenshot

Open the map → Press G to hide UI → Press Ctrl+Shift+F11 for high-res screenshot mode → Set multiplier to 4x for maximum quality.

Customization

Customizing Materials

Find Material Instance
In Content Browser → Sicka_Yazd_Exterior/Materials, find the instance for the asset you want to change (e.g. MI_BrickBase).

Double-click to Edit
Enable checkboxes next to colour, roughness, normal intensity, or tiling parameters to override them.

Save
Press Ctrl+S. Changes apply instantly in the viewport.
Optimization

Performance Tips

Enable Nanite (UE5)
Select heavy meshes → Details → Enable Nanite for automatic polygon streaming and massive performance gains.
Cull Distance Volumes
Add a Cull Distance Volume around dense foliage to auto-hide small meshes at distance.
LODs are Pre-built
All key meshes include LOD0, LOD1, and LOD2 — automatically used by UE based on camera distance.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this work in Unreal Engine 4?

Yes — compatible with UE 4.20, 4.22, 4.26, and 4.27. Lumen and Nanite are UE5-only features; in UE4 baked static lighting is used instead.

Do I need C++ knowledge?

No. This is a 100% Blueprint project. No programming is required.

Can I use this in a commercial game?

Yes. A standard Fab license allows commercial use. See fab.com for full licensing terms.

Can I modify or retexture the assets?

Yes. All meshes and materials are fully editable inside Unreal Engine.
